Resulting from a blend of Barbera (70%) and Nebbiolo (30%) grapes, this wine shows the character and breeding of the vineyards in Bussia, a cru which is recognized as being one of the very best in the entire Barolo wine-making area. This very combination of concentration and - at the same time - elegance led us to name this wine after the area it is grown in

| Vinification: |
no selected yeasts are used; only native species. As the two varieties ripen at different times, they are picked separately selecting only the best grapes, which then macerate for around 6/8 days with appropriate controlling of the temperature. The two wines are blended following fermentation. |

in small oak barrels for around 12/15 months. |

in the bottle for 6 months, at a controlled temperature of 15° C.

elegant fruit, with blackberry and currants accompanied by sweet liquorice overtones. |

rich, with powerful extract. Vigorous tannins, with a final sensation of good balance and persistence.
