LANGHE ROSATO
Faule
“Faule” is a term that comes from the Piedmontese dialect and means “Fairytales”. This wine was born from an idea and a dream, that of telling the story of Nebbiolo in all its forms, even in the slightly more extravagant and lively version of a rosé.
Characteristics
Grape variety: 85% Nebbiolo and 30% Barbera
Average age of Vineyards: 16 years.
Planting density: 5000-5300 vines/ha.
Altitude: 300/400 m. asl.
Position: North/Northwest/Southwest.
Soil: Marly, calcareous.

Vinification: 24 hours of cryomaceration followed by light pressing and a slow fermentation at low temperatures to maintain the varietal aromas typical of the vines as intact as possible.
Colour: Pale pink tending towards onion skin.
Nose: Delicate, floral and finely fruity with hints of cherry blossom, violet and aromatic herbs.
Taste: Soft, fresh and savory with hints of citrus. Slightly sparkling

Storage temperature: From 13° and 15° C.
Serving temperature: From 9 to 11°C
Pairings: Shellfish and delicate fish. Also excellent as an aperitif.

BAROLO
Barolo DOCG
This is our expression of "classic" Barolo.
In ancient tradition, Barolo was not produced from a single vineyard but by blending grapes from vineyards located in different areas and municipalities of Barolo.
This wine is made from grapes grown in the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, and La Morra.
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Average age of Vineyards: 20 years.
Plant density: 5000 plants/ha.
Altitude: 300/500 m. a.s.l.
Exposure: South/South-East/South-West.
Soil: Marly, at times sandy.
Vinification: The grapes from each vineyard are vinified and aged separately. The methods are different, each one enhancing the distinctive characteristics of each terroir.
Aging: Approximately 30 months of aging in large barrels.
Refinement: In the bottle for 4 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Ruby red of medium intensity.
Bouquet: Floral, rich, broad and continuous with notes of red hibiscus flowers, plum and raspberry
Taste: On the palate it is classic, rich, powerful, with a moderate acidity that contrasts with a soft tannin, notes of alpine herbs and a finish of leather and tar.
Storage temperature: From 14 to 17°C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roast red meats, game, truffled dishes and mature cheeses.
Bottles produced: Approximately 15.000.

BAROLO
Bussia
Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes produced in the most recently planted vineyards in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba in the Bussia sub-zone (Cru).
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Average age of Vineyards: 15 years.
Plant density: 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude: 300/350 m. asl.
Exposure: South/South-West.
Soil: Marly with evident limestone formations.
Vinification: As with the other wines, fermentation occurs exclusively with indigenous yeasts. Maceration lasts approximately 16 days at a controlled temperature between 25 and 30°C.
Aging: Approximately 30 months of aging in big barrels.
Refinement: In the bottle for 6 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Ruby red almost garnet
Bouquet: Rich, broad, and intense aroma with floral and fruity notes. Hints of cherry, raspberry, and dried fruit. Hematic.
Taste: The enveloping and persistent flavor has a fresh and savory finish. Velvety and balanced tannins make it suitable for drinking even while young.
Storage temperature: From 14 to 17°C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Cured meats, roast red meats, game, and mature cheeses.

BAROLO
Bussia Bricco Visette
Barolo has ancient origins. There are documents that testify to the cultivation of Nebbiolo in the Visette area as early as the 12th century.
The same name "Visette" derives from the dialectal expression "vis" (vine) and means small vines.
Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, Visette area (Bussia).
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Average age of Vineyards 37 years.
Plant density: 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude 300/350 m. a.s.l.
Exposure: South/South-West.
Soil: Marly.
Vinification: Maceration on the skins for approximately 20 days and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Aging: In small oak barrels for 30 months.
Refinement: In the bottle for 6 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Dark garnet red.
Bouquet: Elegant, intense, and spicy, with notes of red fruit such as raspberry, currant, and pomegranate. When young, it also has mentholated notes.
Taste: Rich and balanced with intense and harmonious tannins.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roasted red meats, game, and mature cheeses. Also recommended as a good meditation wine.
Bottles produced: Approximately 6.000.

BAROLO
Riserva Ciabot Minat
The "Ciabot Minat" represents the excellence of the company and is the result of a scrupulous selection.
For this reason it is produced only in the best vintages and in a limited number of bottles.

Variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Average age of Vineyards: 55 years.
Plant density: Over 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude: 350 m. a.s.l.
Exposure: South.
Soil: Marly, calcareous
Vinification: Slow maceration on the skins for over 30 days and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Aging: In small oak barrels for 48 months.
Refinement: In the bottle for 12 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Garnet red.
Bouquet: Rich and complex with warm tones characteristic of Nebbiolo, floral aromas, jam, and spices. Notes of leather and tar.
Taste: Rich and powerful with firm tannins but well blended with the structure, notable body, excellent persistence and harmony.
Storage temperature: From 14 to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roast red meats, game, mature cheeses or simply recommended as a good glass of meditation wine.

BAROLO
Barolo Chinato 35
It was founded in the second half of the 19th century by a pharmacist from Serralunga d'Alba as a remedy for seasonal ailments. In the Piedmontese tradition, Barolo Chinato became the main antidote to many small ailments, especially from colds.
Drunk as mulled wine, hot and invigorating, its antipyretic and digestive abilities were praised.
Characteristics
Barolo Chinato is obtained from the maceration of various spices, including China Calisaia bark, Rhubarb root and Gentian, essences that are known to have antiviral properties. The alcohol-based extract of the various essences, at the end of maceration, is added to the Barolo wine with the addition of sugar.
Today, Barolo Chinato is consumed as a sweet dessert wine, at the end of a meal as a digestive or as a meditation wine.
Our Barolo Chinato 35 Vendemmie comes from an ancient family recipe handed down by grandparents and revisited in a modern key using 22 different officinal essences including: China Calissaia, Rhubarb root, Gentian, Chamomile, Star Anise and Orange Peel.
Colour: Dark amber.
Bouquet: Intense and deep nose with a good dose of spices and balsamic hints.
Taste: Rich, sweet and at the same time bitter and slightly spicy.
Pairings: Ideal with desserts characterized by intense and persistent aromas. Also excellent as an accompaniment to dark chocolate. Interesting and seductive when consumed as a meditation wine or at the end of a meal as a digestive. It can also be used to prepare some cocktails or it can also be served slightly heated with steam with the addition of an orange zest.

LANGHE NEBBIOLO
Sbardajà
Class and spontaneous vivacity are the distinguishing characteristics of Nebbiolo. This ancient wine has been renowned for its wines in the cellars of the Royal House of Savoy since the 1600s.
"Sbardajà" is a term derived from the Piedmontese dialect and means
scattered, referring to the fact that this wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards scattered between the Langhe and Roero regions. The blending of these two terroirs yields a structured yet elegant wine.
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age of Vineyards: 16 years.
Planting density: 5300 plants/ha.
Altitude 300/400 m. a.s.l.
Exposure: North/North-West.
Soil: Marly, calcareous.
Vinification: Fermentation is conducted naturally with indigenous yeasts and to enhance the qualities of freshness and fragrance, maceration takes place at controlled temperature between 25 and 28 ° C for about 10 days.
Aging: In stainless steel tanks for 12 months.
Refinement: 4 months in bottle at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Brilliant, ruby red.
Bouquet: Floral, intense and ample with hints of cherry, plum and pomegranate, combined with notes of licorice.
Taste: Warm, savoury and velvety with a moderate tannic charge that makes it suitable for multiple pairings.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Hot appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, white and red meat roasts.

BARBERA D'ALBA SUPERIORE
La Lisi
Obtained from Barbera grapes produced in the vineyards located in Monforte d'Alba, Visette area.
The name La Lisi derives from "Lisirun", the old farmhouse where our family took its first steps in the world of viticulture.
Characteristics
Grape variety: 100% Barbera
Average age of Vineyards: 22 years.
Planting density: 5000 plants/ha.
Altitude: 350/400 m. a.s.l.
Exposure: West/North-West.
Soil: Marly, calcareous.
Vinification: Cold maceration lasts 36 hours, followed by another 6 days at a moderate temperature. Fermentation occurs exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
Aging: In steel tanks for 12 months to preserve the freshness of the fruity aromas and the varietal typicality.
Refinement: In the bottle for a few months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Intense ruby ​​red with garnet reflections, almost impenetrable.
Bouquet: Fruity, vigorous and fragrant with notes of raspberry, berries and wild strawberry.
Taste: Pleasant, savory and balanced.
Storage temperature: from 14 to 17°C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Hot appetizers, risottos, lasagna and cheeses.

SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO
Extra Brut
Obtained from our vineyards in Monforte d'Alba from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, it is a new product from the company, which has decided to address this challenge by adopting new winemaking methods compared to the more traditional ones used for red wines.
